Dwayne Johnson, most widely known as the Rock Dwayne Johnson was born on May 2, 1972, in California.

He is not only a retired professional wrestler but also an American actor, producer, and businessman.

He is the son of the professional wrestler Rocky Johnson and he often looked up to his father as his father performed in the ring. He pursued a career in wrestling and made his first debut in USWA. Back then, he named himself Flex Kavanah and won the tag team championship with Brett Sawyer.

Dwayne joined World Wrestling Entertainment in the year 1996. From there he becomes Rocky Maivia and joined hands with the Nation of Domination group.

When the Nation was divided, Rocky joined Corporations and began a wonderful feud with Steve Austin but later, he was kicked out of this wrestlers group.

With time, he received recognition as The People’s Champion.

Dwayne staged a new career by making his presence known in the film, Mummy Returns (2001) and since then he is seen in multiple Hollywood movies such as Pain & Gain (2013), Fast & Furious, and many others.

He has also hosted various reality shows. In 2011, he again presented himself in the ring against John Cena which received the event a great success.

Johnson acquired the eighth professional wrestling title in 2013.
