Mary Kom is the Indian Olympic boxer who has become World Amateur Boxing champion for six times.
She has won medals in every seven world championships and has broken the barriers for a woman boxer.
3. Indira Gandhi
The first female Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi is known for shaping a new India as a democratic country. This leader did not let any setbacks such as expulsion from the political party deter her from acquiring her vision.
Instead, she founded a new party and became an inspiration to the world.
4. Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey is yet another role model to look up to who gave minorities and common people a voice to express themselves to the world.
She provided people with an opportunity to know people who weren’t like them yet they were all human beings.
5. Belinda Wright
The executive director of Wildlife Protection Society of India, Belinda Wright was born in Kolkata who served to halt the poaching of wild animals.
She became a wildlife photographer and has saved hundreds of wildlife creatures.
