Peace is often sought but not always found in this chaotic world we inhabit today. In order to live peacefully, both internally and externally we need a foundation of faith and appreciation. Throughout Christian history, people have turned to the word of God as providing this foundation of faith.
Scripture reminds us of what we have to be thankful for and what truly matters. Here we look at a few Bible verses that can help us find peace.
1)2THESSALONIANS 3:16
Now may the lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
2) JOHN 16:23
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation. But take heart, I have overcome the world.
3) PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayers and supplication in thanksgiving let your request be made known to god.
4) ISAIAH 26:3
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.
5) 1 PETER 5:7
Casting all your anxieties in him, because he cares for you.
6) ROMANS 12:18
If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peacefully with all.
7) 1 PETER 3:11
Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.
8) ROMANS 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
9) HEBREWS 12:14
Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the lord.
10) 1 CORINTHIANS 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all churches of the saints.

Deceit in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan peace have joy.
