1: CARE FOR OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CARED FOR.
Empathy, tolerance, and peace are all enshrined in the Golden Rule. This idea instils in you the ability to love both yourself and others. It cuts across countries and faiths, and it’s an age-old universal principle that can’t go wrong!
2: LISTEN, NOT SPEAK, TO HEAR WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY.
Engage in dialogue with an open mind and a genuine desire to hear what others have to say. Only then will you be able to communicate and develop bridges with one another. If people are unable to speak with one another, listen to their experiences and perspectives, and demonstrate empathy, understanding, and compassion, change and peace cannot be achieved.
3: ACCEPT OPINION DIFFERENCES
We all have different viewpoints and may not agree on everything. It’s critical to develop compromise and mutual understanding. Sometimes we just have to agree to disagree and acknowledge that other people have different opinions and ways of expressing themselves than we do.
4: FIGHT VIOLENCE WITH EMPATHY, NOT VIOLENCE.
The use of violence is never an option. Only free will, discussion, empathy, and forgiveness can bring about peace. Do not fall to the same level as a violent person, perpetuating the destructive cycle. Nothing has changed as a result of this.
5: DEFEAT EXTREMISM IN ALL FORMATS
Do not label terrorism as a religious phenomenon, and do not pick out or caricature specific groups of individuals. Extremism is a human “disease” that manifests itself in a variety of ways. All forms of extremism and bigotry must be combated as a community to avoid further separation and violence.
