More often than not, we find ourselves thinking about work even during our free time. Although we don’t deliberately think about work, it comes naturally. But this is not healthy for our well-being. When any work-related thoughts or ideas pop up outside work time, don’t engage yourself in thinking about it in great depth. Acknowledge it and if you want, even write it down so that you don’t forget it and come back later to ponder upon it during your actual work time.
4) Engage in your hobbies
Distracting yourself from work related thoughts can be done by keeping yourself occupied with your hobbies. This keeps you closer to the things you enjoy doing and helps you have a peaceful time.
