How To Gently Push Yourself Out Of Your Comfort Zone

A Comfort zone is a place where you feel comfortable and your capabilities are not really tested. The Comfort zone is not really a comfort, it is to stay trapped in the chains of fear. For an exciting and thrilling life, one should embrace the new opportunities that pop up.

If you want to get out of your comfort zone, you need to follow the following ways.

1. Get comfortable with discomfort

Getting out of your comfort zone is to stop running about from discomfort. Make it an aim to accept and be comfortable with discomfort.

2. Change your daily routine

If you want to get out of your comfort zone rather than being stuck in the continuous cycle of your routine, make some changes to it. Ensure that all your days have some different or special feature in them.

3. Take baby steps

Jumping out of your comfort zone is most likely going to overwhelm you and make you jump back in. Take baby steps to overcome your fears and worries.

4. Befriend risk-takers

If you are up for taking risks you need to hang out with people who are risk-takers. Their willpower, capabilities, and behavior will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone.

5. Be clear of what you want to overcome

Make a list of all the discomforts you want to overcome and remember that your main motive is to overcome the fear. Be specific about your fears and recognize the source of them. This is another step of working towards getting past your fears.
