World peace, also known as peace on Earth, is the ideal state of joy, freedom, and peace inside and among all people and nations on the planet. Non – violence is one motive for individuals and nations to willingly collaborate, either voluntarily or as a result of a system of administration that has this goal. Different cultures, religions, ideologies, and organisations have different ideas about how such a state would emerge.
Our world has changed as a result of COVID-19. Our lives, assumptions, and relationships have all changed in the previous years regardless of where we live. More than ever before, we have seen individuals of all ages and backgrounds come together to help one another.
If world peace means the absence of war among nations, then it may be unattainable. There are more than six billion people on the planet, current predictions predict a growth to between eight and 10 billion by the end of the century, with the poorest countries experiencing the greatest increases. Land, water, natural resources of all types, employment and opportunities, and political and economic influence will be in high demand.
Worldwide peace is most likely only a few decades away, when challenges to humanity’s existence caused by global warming, pollution, and other factors become an immediate threat to everybody.
In summary, only world peace motivated by a knowledge of the threat to everyone’s survival is the most likely source of rescue for a short-sighted humanity that is currently unable to see or think beyond the immediate.
