Begin to pay attention to your thoughts and write down the ones that are bothering you. Don’t disregard them; instead, pay attention to them. Take a deep breath if you detect anger or hatred forming in your head. Allow it to go.
When you get the opportunity, put this into practice. Not only does cultivating calmness have a significant impact on your own mental state, but you never know how much of an impact you may have on those around you.
