There might come certain days or instances in our life where we might feel bad about ourselves, hate ourselves, think we aren’t good enough, feel low or just feel like giving up on everything. Why might this happen? The common reason for it could be that our mind might be getting conditioned to certain unexpected things like, not leaving up to the media standards, comparing our progress to that of the other, seeing our friends getting successful at their endeavours, and finding ourselves reaching nowhere, failing at a particular thing and all other factors that might come our way towards achieving great progress.
At such times, it’s important that we sit down, calm ourselves first, take a moment and breathe and stop all the thought processes that keep running in our heads. After calming ourselves up, it’s important to ask ourselves why we feel bad about ourselves, journal it, and try figuring out what we could do about it.
When you keep a diary or journal things out, 90% of your stress and worst feelings about yourself will get dissolved in the thin air. When you monologue about what exactly you are feeling bad about you can easily cope with everything that’s bothering you.
Remind yourself, about your positive sides and also the things that you like the most about yourself, the great qualities that you possess. Remind yourself for how grateful you are and for how long you have come and remained consistent in this journey of life.
Remind yourself that there might be so many people in this world who wish to have what you have and also to live a life like yours, thank God and yourself for existing. Remind yourself that “absolutely” no one is perfect in this world, and you too are one of them, it’s okay to make mistakes and learn from them.
Don’t be harsh on yourself just be happy for the moment that you’re leaving because that too has become unaffordable and unpredictable these days.
