Barack Hussein Obama (brought into the world August 4, 1961) is an American public servant and lawyer who filled in as the 44th president of the United States of America from 2009 to 2017. An individual from the Democratic Party, Obama was the first to be an African-American president of the United States. Before that, he filled in as a U.S. congressperson from Illinois from 2005 to 2008 and an Illinois state representative from 1997 to 2004.
The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize was granted to United States President Barack Obama for his “uncommon endeavours to reinforce worldwide affairs and collaboration between individuals”. The Norwegian Nobel Committee declared the honour on October 9, 2009, referring to Obama’s advancement of atomic power (nuclear weapons) limitation and “upgraded atmosphere” in worldwide relations cultivated by Obama, particularly in connecting with the Muslim world. His contribution to maintaining global peace and de-escalation in military strength was noteworthy. His grants include withdrawal of the US military from Iraq and partial withdrawal of the US Army from Afghanistan after settling chaos there.
His views on peace were bold yet simple. It reflected his strict attitude against terrorism yet a kind feature to help the people in distress.
