It is important to consciously alter your environment so that you can test and change your influences. You need to realize that you can shape the world and the world shapes you back. When you consciously make a path one at a time for yourself in whichever direction you want to go, then you learn to walk on that path.

3. Build processes and habits

When you think of habits as a part of your environment, it becomes easy to shape your environment to shape yourself. The result of the emergent process are habits that take time to build. But when you develop a habit, it becomes resilient to the changed conditions.
