Happiness comes from within, it depends on what we do and what we don’t, whether to be happy or not to be happy depends on you. Doing some things gives you happiness, but at the same time avoiding some things also gives you happiness.
Here are the 7 things to stop doing if you truly want to be happy
1. Stressing
Stressing is not a option for any situation. All you can do is, Just close your eyes, take a deep breath, and realize that stuff will all figure out. When you’re worried, you emit a frantic and negative vibe and it also rubs off on other people. The people near you expect you to be calm and delighted. Nothing is anyways, as big of a deal as we make it.
2. Wasting time with toxic people
Don’t even spend your time, money, or stamina on toxic people. You’re better than that. Life is too temporary to waste moments with negative people and people who don’t even care about you. Instead, be with happy people and be happy.
3. Trying to be perfect
There is no such aspect as perfect, only real and factual. Don’t bother about things not turning out the way you thought they would. It’s all wonderful and amazing. Be thankful for the way things happen.
You don’t always have to be perfect, but you can always be a better and best version of yourself.
4. Comparing yourself with others
As humans, we grow in society and expect to feel a sense of belongingness, so a phase of comparison is normal. If you discover yourself hurting yourself for not matching up to other people’s accomplishments, it’s time to reconsider what position comparison is playing in your life. Rather of concentrating on what you envy, focus on what you appreciate and use that to motivate yourself in the future.
5. Relying on other people to make you happy
We are accountable for our self-satisfaction and happiness. Putting that responsibility on other people is unfair and damages relationships. If you expect to be happy, you are required to take ownership of your own feelings and opinions and start concluding what you can do to deepen your achievement with life.
6. Fearing failure
Failing in a situation and getting upset about it, is an unavoidable aspect of life. But don’t allow it to destroy you. Don’t have fear of failing. It is totally okay if you fail, but don’t stop moving forward. Keep moving ahead, don’t look behind when you should not. And avoiding this fear will eventually make you happy.
7. Trying to be a person you are not
Although every living individual is born, tries best, wishing to be accepted and fit in the society and its norms, it is one of the vastly common obstacles to happiness. When we transform ourselves to earn validation from other people in society we will never feel happy and satisfied.
