Feeling Lazy? Here Are SEAL’s To Defeat Your Laziness

Laziness, the common behavioral trait that we often fail to overcome in life, results in poor conditioning of ourselves.

You can get inspired by the SEAL to overcome your laziness.

SEAL is an acronym for Sea, Air, and Land that is a part of commando operations.

The SEAL training is quite rough and tough but the Hell Week Tuesday is a huge survival challenge. The soldiers are woken up with machine gun fires on Sunday morning and are forced to exercise and get in the ice-cold water. They run all night long while carrying the rafts.

The same continues the following day, Monday. The soldiers have to lift logs, run in the water waves, and exercise in the cold water.

This training is mentally challenging and is to be followed with the given instructions. If not done with precision can lead to punishment exercises. They are expected to continue with this training till Friday without getting any sleep.

Tuesday is considered to be the toughest because they are already very tired but have to go through with it throughout the week. Even if they don’t want to do it, they have to do it.

Tuesday is the day they start feeling sorry for themselves. They feel like they are not even halfway in and Friday seems to be way too away. The tasks look impossible to achieve and many tend to quit on Tuesdays.

The ones who get through the week diverted their focus on each task at a time without looking beyond it. They don’t think about an hour from now. They just achieve one task at a time.

You can look up to them to overcome your laziness or challenging work by focusing on one task at a time. After achieving it, you’ll feel motivated to take another step ahead.
