However, because of electronic communications, social media platforms, and dating apps, each of us is connected to thousands of people, any of whom could disregard our posts, chats, texts, or dating profiles, making us feel rejected.
We are nevertheless subject to major and more damaging rejections in addition to these types of smaller rejections. Regardless of how big or tiny the rejection is, one thing is certain: it hurts, and it usually hurts more than we expect.
Romantic rejection is particularly difficult, especially for people who want to be in a long-term relationship.
