Sleep is happiness and peace together

Have you ever wondered why small kids and newborns spend most of their time sleeping? Be it afternoon or night or any time they are feeling lazy or bored they just turn towards sleeping anytime anywhere. Sleep is very very necessary for the proper functioning of our body and brain. Its helps kids in their physical as well as mental growth. Not just kids, but it is also essential for adults as well. When we get engrossed in our work, we choose to delay our sleep time. We may be running behind the deadline but our sleep is equally important. An average adult mandatorily needs 7-8 hours of night sleep. Youngsters require 9-10 hours of sleep and babies need 12 or more hours of sleep every day. Sleeplessness can lead to lack of focus or concentration in everything. You will have a restless day and it will harm your health internally.

Some reasons why less sleep can make you unhappy: –

You don’t fall sick easily as it strengthens your immune system.
Helps in maintaining your weight.
Improves your mood and helps you interact with people effectively.
Improves your decision-making skills and clear your mind from negative emotions.
Improves your focus and helps you avoid any mishaps.
Lowers the risk of illness related to the heart or other problems like diabetes and uncontrolled blood pressure.

If you receive all these benefits every day, it reduces your chances of being sad or lose your calm. This is how sleep is related to your peace and happiness. There are many reasons why you may have difficulties in sleeping or feel insomniac. Some tips to help you sleep better at night are as follows: –

Try to spend most of your daytime in the sun.
Exercise 1-2 hours daily. You must do some physical activity that tires you.
Don’t eat heavy meals or spicy food before bedtime.
Don’t take long naps in the day time. It will reduce your sleep time at night.
Avoid consuming caffeine from coffee or cold drinks.
Avoid smoking and drinking.
