It’s important to keep calm, listen carefully before reacting to anything. Rather than taking any hasty decision or reacting rudely while furthering any arguments we must keep calm and listen before we react.
When you react to something without having complete knowledge of the said conversation you might end up yourself into endless problems and unnecessary misunderstandings. Understandably, we might end up getting overwhelmed by situations that might be triggering or else cause anxiety.
Our ego tends to go into defence mode and our urge to prove ourselves right gets at its peak. So it’s important that before reacting to something we must pay attention to what the person in front of us is speaking. We must keep our calm before reacting.
Firstly, breathe deep and concentrate on what the person is saying, keep your mind away from all sorts of distractions and pay attention to what someone is saying, this can help you get some points on landing your arguments. Because when you are distracted you are likely to not listen to what the other person is speaking.
Analyse the conversation carefully in your head, see if it’s coming from a good place or is someone being mean or passive-aggressive to you or else playing with you. Think properly about what the person is speaking. Don’t take anything personally, remind yourself whatever the person is speaking is not “real you” , those are just their thoughts and not facts. So by keeping these points in your mind it can help you keep calm.
