4 Techniques To Transform Leftover Rice Into A Unique Dish

Who doesn’t enjoy indulging in delicious treats for a special lunch or supper on the weekends, but cooking after a long, busy week may seem like a difficult undertaking? You need to read this if you’ve been struggling to make a nice and simple meal on the weekend. We have assembled a collection of quick and intriguing dishes that call for leftover rice. 1. Rice Bean Pot

One cup of kidney or black beans should be soaked and pressure cooked to make a wonderful and unusual rice bean meal. After that, add boiling beans, 12 cups corn, and 12 cups finely chopped bell pepper to a skillet along with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 3–4 minced garlic cloves, and an onion. Toss everything together. Add the rice last, then season with salt and pepper. Paprika can be added to taste. Enjoy.

2. Rice Cutlets

To prepare these quick cutlets, mash 2 boiled potatoes with 1 cup of leftover rice, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1/4 cup of grated mozzarella cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, and green chilies. Make tiny, flattened balls of thick dough, roll them in panko crumbs, then roll them in an egg wash before deep-frying.

3. Fiery Rice Soup

Spicy pepper, leftover rice, corn, and hot spices are used to make this soup in the Mexican style. Take a pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter, 5 minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon mashed ginger, 1 large onion, 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes, and 1 cup mixed bell peppers, and stir to combine. Stir fry and season to taste with salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Add the rice, shredded chicken, boiled corn, and water once the mixture appears to have finished cooking. Enjoy a hot dish with herbs.

4. Rice Cheese Salad

Take a big bowl, and add 2 chopped tomatoes, 1 red onion, 1 green zucchini, and 2 green chilies to prepare this simple salad dish. Fresh cottage cheese cubes are then added and combined. Then, combine 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic chili oil, 1 tablespoon of toasted peanuts, and 1 tablespoon of chopped coriander leaves to produce a dressing. The dressing needs to be heated for 1 minute. Mix the leftover rice with the salad greens in the meantime, then drizzle on the chile-garlic dressing. Give the cottage cheese cubes a gentle spin before serving.
