5 Yoga Poses For Post Festive Detox

It’s only normal that we look forward to all the festive holidays because it’s a time for family reunions and festivity. Festivals are known for their exquisite delicacies, which include a wide variety of meals, desserts, savoury foods, and other delicious goodies. We have a tendency to go beyond regardless of our great commitment to practise control.

We overeat and get swept up leading in some excess weight throughout the festive periods. Nevertheless, if you are one of those individuals who is concerned about how to lose weight, yoga can help.

Here are 5 yoga poses for post festive detox.

1. Balasana

Take a deep breath in while being in the child pose. Then, on the exhale, let go of the stress and breathe through your nose. Begin with 5 rounds of adequate force on the bowels while moving your diaphragm. This pose will help you in digestion.

2. Setu Bandhasana

Bridge Pose, also known as Setu Bandha Sarvangasana, is a yoga pose that extends the backbone, neck area and torso. By lowering weariness or stress, this Yoga practice will activate abdominal muscles and renew the system. It also aids metabolism and improves junk disposal from the body.

3. Parivrtta Parsvakonasana

Thighs, pelvises, hamstrings, and even the chest area are strengthened and stretched in this posture. It expands the torso and shoulders as well. If you have a spine or back problem, you should skip this technique. It may not be suited for persons with blood pressure issues because it needs stability.

4. Pavanmuktasana

Pavanmuktasana’s merits are summed up in the name. This technique aids in the evacuation of gas from the system and alleviates diarrhea. It also improves blood flow to the hips and knees.

5. Malasana

For Malasana, broaden your posture, stretch your toes out slightly, and sink your pelvis under your feet. This posture promotes descending movement, which can aid in the release of any emotional or physical obstacles. Keep a tab on your feelings when you’re in a Malasana position. The obstructions will be released with a hearty tear.
