Practicing Mindful eating is to maintain or the awareness of the food you eat or what you drink each day. Mindful eating acknowledges can accept the feelings and bodily changes you observe. In our busy lives, we eat anything anytime without keeping a track of it. This may result in mindless eating, where we adjust eating without actually analyzing if you are hungry or not. In fact, most reasons for anytime hunger is due to the emotional breakdown, stress, other such anxieties which we face in day to day life. This kind of mindless eating is very unhealthy for us.

Mindful eating isn’t about being on a complete diet or always eating the right food, or to follow strict rules of how many calories to intake in your diet or what to avoid in your diet. Mindful eating is all about focusing on your senses and be aware of what you are cooking and eating. It helps you in becoming more attached to your body. It also helps to avoid overeating and helps you to change your diet into a healthier version to improve mental and physical well being.

There are various benefits of mindful eating. Being mindful about the food you eat helps you in better digestion, helps you stay full for a longer time, and helps us to avoid all the unhealthy habits and motivate us to eat healthy food.

Helps you to have a healthy relationship with food and to notice when exactly you are hungry for food.

Helps you to stay satisfied with the food you eat and not crave other unhealthy food items and learn to appreciate the food you eat.

It helps you keep your digestive system well in programming due to slower consumption of food and intervals.

Helps you feel fuller with comparatively with lesser consumption of food and hence can be helpful while losing weight.

It is a healthier and more balanced way of eating your meals rather than eating mindlessly and regretting it later.
