Benefits Of Cumin Seeds For Skin & Hair

Cumin seeds, also known as Jeera, are a typical culinary staple in Indian households. It is also one of the most widely used spices in Indian curries and other foods. Cumin is one of the most traditional and nutritious spices used in Indian cuisine. Cumin is more than just a flavor enhancer; it also provides several health benefits. Cumin seeds are also beneficial to our skin and hair.

Cumin Seeds Have Skin-Benefiting Properties such as:

1. Anti-ageing properties

The cumin includes a significant level of vitamin E, which aids in the slowing down of the aging process. A slower aging process means fewer signs of premature aging, making your skin appear younger. Cumin minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles when applied to the face. This is one of the most underappreciated cumin advantages.

2. Get rid of itching

Cumin seeds can aid with itching and the production of excessive body heat. Boil some cumin seeds in water and then take a bath with it after it cools down. Cumin water has several health benefits that might help you get rid of the irritation.

3. Treatment of a burning sensation

Drinking cumin water can help relieve a burning sensation in your hand or sole. Simply boil cumin seeds in water for 10 minutes and drink the resulting liquid 2-3 times per day.

4. Treatment for skin conditions

Cumin is strong in vitamin E, which keeps our skin looking young and healthy. Cumin oil has antifungal properties and hence aids in the treatment of fungal infections. Cumin oil, when used for pimples, boils, and other skin disorders, aids in the healing process.

Cumin Seeds Have Hair Benefits:

1. Treatment for hair loss

Cumin has also been shown to be good for our hair. It aids in the reduction of hair loss and balding. Combine cumin seed with olive or coconut oil and cook for a few minutes. Allow the mixture to cool before straining it to remove the seeds. Before showering, massage this oil onto your scalp. For the best effects, leave this oil in your hair overnight. Apply this oil two to three times each week. Cumin seeds combined with methi seeds provide additional benefits in the treatment of hair loss.

2. Get long, lustrous hair

Cumin can also add shine and length to your hair. Boil some cumin seeds in water until the water is half as much as the amount consumed. Allow cooling before straining. Take an egg yolk for example. Combine the two ingredients in a large mixing bowl and apply to your full head of hair.

You can also add a spoon of olive oil to it before mixing everything for added benefit. Allow 30-40 minutes for this combination to remain on your hair before bathing, then wash it out with your regular shampoo.
