Boiled eggs are low in calories and high in minerals, protein, vitamins, and antioxidants, all of which boost your immune system. They’re also really useful if you are trying to lose weight quickly.

A boiling egg diet is a fad diet that emphasizes eating multiple portions of boiled eggs throughout the day. The diet originally gained popularity in 2018 when supporters claimed that it could help people lose up to 11 kilograms in just two weeks, as per Times of India reports.

The diet focuses on eating low-calorie foods while restricting other food groups, perhaps speeding up weight loss.

The diet permits you to eat various low-calorie sources of nourishment, such as lean proteins and non-starchy vegetables, in addition to many portions of boiled eggs per day. This meal plan also allows for some low-calorie fruits. Zero-calorie beverages, such as water, black/green tea, or coffee, are also available. But consume it without sugar.

Grain, some vegetables, fruits, and processed foods are all high in carbs and should be avoided. The diet is designed so that you restrict particular items for a few weeks before gradually transitioning back to a better eating pattern.

The boiled egg diet is based on two main principles: calorie restriction and minimal carbohydrate intake. While eggs, non-starchy vegetables, and other diet plan ingredients are low in calories, they can help you lose weight by creating a calorie deficit in your body, i.e., consuming fewer calories than you expend in a day. Eggs can also help you feel satiated for longer, allowing you to eat less overall.

Apart from weight loss, the diet can also improve robust bone health, clear vision, healthy hair and skin, and excellent blood sugar control.
