Effective ways to reduce gas in the stomach

· Change your diet

Avoid eating food that causes gas and bloating. It is one of the easiest remedies of all. Many vegetables like broccoli or green leafy vegetables can cause gas, even fruits like apple and pear can be the reason. You should take notes of all the food items that cause trouble and avoid eating them.

· Chew your food properly

Chewing your food properly makes it easier for the intestine to digest the food. When the food is digested quickly then there’s no chance of gas. Therefore it is said that you must chew your food 32 times before swallowing it, well it seems difficult but chew as much as possible take your time while eating food don’t hurry at all. Also, close your mouth while chewing food. There’s a reason why you are told to close your mouth while eating because when you keep your mouth open while chewing more air enters in your stomach which causes gas.

· Take a probiotic

Probiotics are the good bacteria that help in breaking down the food easily and maintain the health of your gut. It is said that probiotic supplements can reduce excess gas and bloating.

· Try natural digestive aids

There are many kinds of natural digestive aids available in the market. These aids help in digestion because of the digestive enzymes in them. The enzymes mix with our body enzymes and help in digestion of food.

· Don’t fill up on air

Eating chewing gum or drink aerated drinks can fill your stomach with air. If your stomach is filled up with air then it might cause gas trouble. So avoid chewing gums and drinking fizzy drinks. Also, avoid eating your food faster it also lets more air enter your stomach.
