The term spa comprises a wide range of services and with many experiences and one can open a small facial and massage business to expansive destinations of pampering. The word spa comes from the era of ancient Greece and Rome describing naturally occurring thermal springs. There were several locations of spa and the experience of bathing and relaxation were believed to benefit health and not much has changed till the date. Spas are considered to be a state of luxury. there are many types of spas, and are as follows-

Day Spas- This is the most basic form of spa and usually provides facial massages and sometimes other treatments. They also offer some other treatments such as manicures, pedicures, and waxing. Day spas can be mostly found in residential areas and central cities and the duration of the spas is mostly from 30 minutes and two to three hours.

Hotel Spas – As the name shows these spas are mostly offered in hotels and similar to the high-end Day spas. they offer services to hotel guests. There are more features prior to the Day spas with pools and thermal suits.

Destination Spas- These are set up by Hotel spas and the guests might also be seen wearing robes and slippers attending other relaxation therapies like yoga meditation.

Resort Spas -These offer the same as destination spas and focuses on health and some also offer weight loss and many skin treatments.

Medical Spas- These offer more of a cosmetic rather than exotic spas and focus on skin treatment.

It is known that people who attend sessions come out to be happy and confident. Visiting a spa on a morning ritual can really refresh your mind

Having spa sessions can help lower your blood pressure by calming the nervous system and cure many heart diseases. Hot water helps lower your heart rate.

it helps Reduce pain because of the massage. Joint and other bodily pain can be reduced by proper and daily spas.

  1. Reduces stress

One of the most common reasons why spas are good is they give us relief from stress and the everyday hustle of life. It gives you good therapy and a good calmness to your body.
