PTSD(post-traumatic stress disorder)
is a mental health disorder in which people undergo flashbacks, distress, nightmares, and repetitive, interfering thoughts about the traumatic incident they encountered or witnessed.
According to pyramid fbh, there are 4 different stages of PTSD
Here are the 4 stages of PTSD
This phase arises instantly after the traumatic incident. At this point, the affected person is battling to come to terms with the trauma of what occurred. He or she will be highly afraid, hypervigilant, and probably struggling with humiliation.
Not everybody undergoes denial when struggling with PTSD recovery. People who do will proceed to experience strong sentiments brought on by memories of the traumatic incident, but they will try, either consciously or unconsciously, to resist the complicated emotions.
During this stage, sudden solutions to difficulties are addressed. The person with PTSD will strive to adjust to everyday life and return to a point of normalcy.
This stage can go both ways, where individuals will either proceed to receive support from others or they will become disillusioned and relatively pessimistic. At this stage, nightmares and interfering thoughts proceed and make everyday life tough.
As the name signifies, the person will proceed to deal with the after-effects of their shock, such as anxiety and misery. However, with therapy, these negative symptoms can be lessened and finally totally overcame.
With continuous aid from doctors, family, and friends, people with PTSD can believe to return to a calmer, fuller life on the other side.
