Healthy ways to get rid of dark spots at home

Who doesn’t dream of having absolutely clear and flawless skin? But having dark spots can be a little frustrating as they don’t go off on their own and sometimes it’s difficult to hide them with concealer. But there are some healthy ways to deal with these dark spots at home.

1) Papaya –

Use papaya to exfoliate your skin. The fruit is filled with alpha hydroxy acid and papain which helps to achieve a radiant glow to your skin and balance skin tones. Mash the papaya to and then apply it to your face and gently massage gently in a circular motion. This works wonderfully well to exfoliate your skin.

2) Potatoes-

Potatoes serve as a great solution to lighten dark spots. Slice the potatoes and place them over the dark spots for a few minutes. Another way is to apply potato juice on dark spots and then wash it off with warm water. You can even mix honey to create a DIY facemask.

3) Milk-

Milk is also known to lighten dark spots. Applying it along with honey will help get better results much faster.

4) Turmeric Powder-

Turmeric is known for its healing properties for ages. But it also works like a charm for skincare. Mixing turmeric with honey can help reduce dark spots.

5) Buttermilk-

Did you know even buttermilk can be used to deal with dark spots at home? It contains lactic acid which helps to lighten dark spots and get rid of dry skin.

6) Lemon and Yogurt-

Lemon has bleaching properties while yogurt has cleaning properties which combine them into one of the best ways to get rid of dark spots.
