Many studies have found that moderate consumption can lead to a reduction in the risk of some malignancies, neurological disorders, and liver difficulties.
But it also has a number of drawbacks. Drinking too much might potentially have negative consequences.
1. It awakens you but it is not good to keep drinking caffeine
Caffeine increases your alertness and raises your energy. This can be useful for some people, especially in the mornings or when you’re trying to get some stuff done. But there are some side effects of drinking caffeine, when you consume too much caffeine, you can get restless and agitated.
2. Doesn’t allow you to sleep
Caffeine overdose might make it difficult to fall asleep at night. Even regular amount of intake consumed close to bedtime, might cause insomnia in some people. When you get older, the consequences may become more severe. If you notice that caffeine impacts your bedtime, avoid it in the afternoon and evening.
3. Affects the cardiovascular system
Caffeine is highly addictive, which means it will make your heart beat faster as you wake up. That isn’t a problem for many people. However, if you consume too much coffee or are sensitive, your heartbeat may rise too quickly or remain too high for a long time. It may even feel as if your heart is beating in a strange pattern, which is known as heart palpitations.
4. Your mind feels heavy
You develop a resistance to espresso if you consume it very often. You can develop a headache if you don’t take your regular dose. It’s possible that quitting caffeine totally and abruptly will make things worse. If you cut back on coffee one at a time, you’ll notice a difference in how your mind feels.
