There are special water recommendations for pregnant and breastfeeding women. A pregnant woman should drink 10 cups of water, that is 80 ounces whereas a breastfeeding mother is required to consume 104 ounces (13 cups) of water.
It is suggested to drink the recommended water because water works in maintaining your body temperature. Also, it acts as a perfect detoxifiers and cleanse your body by eliminating waste through urine, sweat and bowel movements.
Due to climatic changes, exercises, or health issues the intake of water often varies. You may need to consume more water if you live in a hot climate.
