· Don’t eat for two
It is the worst misconception of all time, that since you are pregnant you need to eat for two. Unless you are underweight you do not need any such extra food. Eat what is needed and is healthy.

One of the major things to concentrate on is your portion of food, which shouldn’t change even after being pregnant. Know what your baby is asking for, don’t misunderstand it, and eat unhealthy craving food. Try to have healthy meals at every interval.

· Try to include all nutrients in your diet
Try to include all types of nutrients in your diet since it’s required for you and the growth of your baby. Try to research and consult a dietitian for the same but avoid such junk food, which might be consumed in the name of cravings.
· Have enough amount of calcium
Women lose calcium as they age. And calcium is very essential for the baby’s good growth and health. Try to meet the needs of calcium as required, your doctor might also prescribe some supplements for the same.
· Keep hydrated
Try to drink a lot of H2O, you must always pay attention to your hydration and the amount of water you are consuming in a day. You can also try drinking detox water or other liquids like fruit and vegetable juices etc
· Maintain a diet journal
Try to maintain a diet journal to make sure that you are intaking enough amount of nutrition and you are not going beyond the requirements. Try to maintain the journal and keep track of it throughout the pregnancy period.
