How to take overall care of your hair

Everyone desires to have frizz-free and soft healthy hair. There are various ways you can take care of your hair to make them healthy and happy. However, the main tip is to have a healthy diet plan and eat your greens. Adding more and more iron and protein in your diet will surely do wonders for your hair. The hair cells are very fragile and fast in growing but at the same time, they are the first ones to get affected if you have changes in your diet.

Iron-rich foods like leafy vegetables, fish, pumpkin seeds, beans, chickpeas, cereals, and dried fruits. You also need to add protein-rich food items like cheese, milk, yoghurt, chicken, and fish. Nowadays due to various use of products on the hair, use of heat for styling it, the hair loses its moisture and becomes dry and rough. We must condition our hair to make sure it retains its moisture and always oil before hair wash. Coconut oil is a natural conditioner that makes your hair longer, thicker, and shiner and helps keep in good health.

Here are a few tips you can follow every day to make sure your hair is in good health and moisture: –

  • Wash your hair regularly – Wash your hair regularly so that it is free from dirt and excess oil. Decide a schedule depending on your hair type and wash accordingly.
  • Oil your hair before a hair wash – Oiling and massaging improves the blood circulation on the scalp, relax your muscles and nourish the hair from within. It also helps to retain the moisture content and make it silky smooth. Oiling help repair split ends. You can choose any oil preferable, almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil, or castor oil.
  • Drink enough water – Drinking water and keeping yourself hydrated is the key to a well-balanced and healthy body, and it also keeps your hair healthy. Hydrating hair care products are not enough, drinking water is necessary for good hair health.
  • Have a healthy diet – If you want your body to be healthy and free from diseases, it is necessary to have a healthy diet. Even, for hair care, you need to have a meal that satisfies its needs. Including eggs, avocado, berries, nuts, fish, chicken, green leafy vegetables, sweet potato are some of the foods which are good for your hair health.
  • Trim your hair regularly – Get a haircut every 6 to 8 weeks. Split ends are natural to happen when the hair is damaged due to excessive use of heat, pollution, and stress. Trimming your hair can make sure you get rid of split ends and have faster and healthier growth.
