How waking up early helps you remain healthy

‘Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise’ said Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of the United States of America. Waking up early for people can be a real drag and they are very lazy to do so. The idea of trying to get the extra 5 mins of sleep suddenly turns into a 30min sleep. Waking up early can have so many benefits from enhancing our performance in school or at work to spending the evenings being active and not sluggish at all throughout the day. Here are some detailed points on how waking up early helps us: –

  • Maintain a healthy diet – People who wake up early have enough time to exercise and get ready for the day. This also leaves you time to have a wholesome breakfast while the late risers rush out of the door in hurry without eating properly.
  • Brighter skin – The overall night’s deep sleep gives your skin a natural glow. Also, if you wake up early you can have a decent amount of time to spend on taking care of your skin. Also, if you wake up early every day you get an adequate amount of sleep every day compared to those to sleep in late and wake up late giving your skin time to rejuvenate.
  • Positive mindset – A study has resulted that people who wake up early also go to bed early maintaining a scheduled sleep pattern that gives you minimum hours of recommended sleep. Also, since you wake up early, you get enough time to prepare for the challenges the day has to offer to give you an incentive over the people waking up late.
  • Extra time to exercise – It is not a hidden fact that morning exercises are highly effective for mental and physical health. People who sleep in late ignore this step due to lack of time. But people who wake up early have plenty of time to perform exercises, meditate or practice Yoga.

These are only some of the many ways that waking up early can help you. Start slowly by waking up 5-10 mins early and keep reducing the time every day. To wake up early it is mandatory to sleep early. Try not to sleep late as it may make you feel dizzy and lazy making it hard for you to wake up early.
