Is Consumption Of Schezwan Chutney Good For Health?

If you are a huge fan of Chinese food or Asian food then schezwan chutney is always your go-to in every dish. The schezwan chutney is used in many Chinese recipes. Schezwan chutney is mostly everyone’s favourite.

But the question is, is schezwan chutney good for health? The answer can be both yes and no. Whether schezwan chutney is good or bad depends on its ingredients. Some of the ingredients present in schezwan chutney can be healthy, but some are not.

Firstly let’s talk about good ingredients.

1. Garlic

Garlic is proven to be low in cholesterol. The ingredients present in garlic help to lower blood pressure. It also regulates blood glucose level for diabetics. Garlic has antiviral and antifungal properties, it helps to cure cold and viral infection. And it is a great source to boost your immune system. It is also helpful for your circulatory system and heart.

2. Onions

Onion helps to build white blood cells. It is also a huge source of vitamin C. It helps in production of good cholesterol. Onion is also known to prevent blood clotting. It lowers blood pressure, and it can be good for heart and diabetes.

3. Kashmiri red chillies

They are high in vitamin C. Kashmiri red chillies are low in calories, low in fats and low in carbs.

Now let’s talk about the ingredients that can cause problem

1. Cornflour

Cornflour can be a barrier to weight reduction as it is full with calories and carbs. Cornflour can be bad for heart patients.

2. Sugar

Sugar used in making schezwan chutney is also called white poison. It has zero nutritional value. It stops the fat burning process and increases your blood sugar level.

If you are a diabetics or heart patient, schezwan chutney is not good for you. And other people who want to consume schezwan chutney can consume it but in small quantities.
