Spinach is one of the leafy vegetables, which is very rich in vitamin A C and k, magnesium iron, and manganese. There are various benefits of spinach which helps your body to function well and keeps you healthy. Spinach is not liked by many people, but surely should be considered in your diet. Spinach can be used in different forms to consume it in the right amount. It can be used in smoothies, salads, or can be cooked in spaghetti or Pizzas, etc. Spinach can be eaten either raw or cooked. Spinach is known as a superfood because of its highest source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties that protect your body from various diseases. Too much of spinach is also not good for health, it may lead to an excessive buildup of gas bloating, and cramps, since our body needs time to digest an excessive lot of spinach and cannot digest it all at once. Spinach is high in fiber it takes time to digest which may further due to diarrhea abdominal pain and even heart diseases.

Spinach is rich in vitamin k which helps in the production of a protein called osteocalcin which is responsible for stabilizing calcium in the bones. Spinach itself is a great source of calcium and vitamin D, dietary fibers potassium, magnesium, and vitamin C which are also important nutrients for bone development.

Helps improve eyesight and immune system

Spinach contains beta carotene, zeaxanthin, lutein, and chlorophyll which is very beneficial for improving eyesight and boosting your immune system. Also reduces the risk of macular degeneration, and hence people are advised to eat more and more greens.

Prevent bacteria and viruses

Spinach being high in vitamin A, it helps skin and mucous membranes to repair various bacterias and viruses. Spinach is responsible for sebum production which helps keep hair moisturized. Vitamin A is good for body heat issues like skin and hair.

Improves heart health

Vitamin C present in spinach is essential for the body and heart. Lutein in spinach ribbons thickening of the wall of arteries, thus reducing the risk of heart attacks. It also contains nitrate that helps to prevent the occurrence of a heart attack.
