Anxiety is a common emotion. It’s your brain’s manner of reacting to stress and warning you of potential danger ahead.

1. Generalized anxiety disorder
You feel unnecessary, unrealistic fear and tension for little reason or no reason.
2. Panic disorder
You feel unexpected, severe fear that gives rise to a panic attack. During a panic attack, you may sweat a lot, have chest pain, and have a pounding heartbeat. You might also feel like you’re choking or having a heart attack.
3. Social anxiety disorder
Also known as social phobia, this is when you feel severe stress and self-consciousness about everyday social situations. You obsessively bother about others judging you or being humiliated or insulted.
4. Specific phobias
You feel drastic fear of a particular object or situation, such as heights or flying. The fear goes beyond what’s appropriate and may affect you to resist normal situations.
5. Agoraphobia
You have a severe fear of being in an area where it appears hard to escape or receive help if an emergency occurs.
6. Separation anxiety
Small kids aren’t the only ones who feel frightened or worried when a loved one leaves. Anyone can get separation anxiety disorder. A person may feel very uneasy or frightened when a person you’re close with leaves your sight. You’ll always fear that something bad may occur to your loved one.
7. Selective mutism
It is a type of social anxiety in which small kids who speak normally with their family don’t talk in public, like at school with their teachers.
8. Medication-induced anxiety disorder
Use of specific medications or illegal pills, or withdrawal from specific drugs, can lead to anxiety disorder.
Here are the symptoms of anxiety disorder
Panic, fear, uneasiness, insomnia.
Not being able to stay relaxed. Cold, sweaty, numb, or itching hands or feet. Shortness of breath, breathing faster and more rapidly than normal.
Irregular heart beatings, dry mouth, nausea, tense muscles and dizziness. Thinking about a situation over and over again and not being able to stop and inability to concentrate on anything.
