Most of the calcification does not need any treatment because they dissolve and go away. As their sizes are small, they cannot be felt. So this calcification is found in a mammogram.

Even if there is no treatment, regular checkups should be done to see if there are any changes.

Though most of the calcification can be classified as benign, some of them can be detected as cancerous, so treatment can be the same as cancer, which can be surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy.

And to prevent oneself, an individual should consume a proper diet, do regular exercise, do a regular health checkup.
