Ways To Hide Your Pregnancy Symptoms

Usually expecting mothers keep their pregnancy a secret for at least the first trimester, either out of fear of miscarriage or because of work-related issues. If you’re still not ready to tell the world about your pregnancy, here’s how to conceal your growing belly and early signs of pregnancy.

1. Dress comfortably

If you’re not ready to announce your pregnancy yet, stay away from tight-fitting garments for a time, especially those that draw attention to your stomach, such as a body-con dress or t-shirt. Wear something loose around your stomach and a tight-fitting bottom, such as skinny jeans or trousers, to balance it out.

2. Add accessories

Using a scarf or jewellery to draw attention away from your face is a great method to do it. A brightly coloured scarf or a pair of large earrings will detract attention from the focal feature. You can also carry a large purse to help cover your little obvious bump at this time.

3. Keep snacks and peppermint tea on hand

The most difficult aspect is concealing the morning sickness. A regular trip to the bathroom combined with nausea should be enough to alert anyone. To avoid this, drink a relaxing beverage such as peppermint tea and eat a bland snack such as crackers. These can help you stay energised while also soothing your stomach.

4. Detoxing is the perfect reason for not drinking

The detox diet is the newest craze, and you can utilise it to deceive others about your pregnancy for a while. Simply explain the decrease in coffee breaks and after-work drinking plans by stating that you are concerned about your health and are currently on a detox diet. Mood swings might be blamed on stress.

5. Stress as a perfect reason for mood swings

Pregnancy brings with it not just physical discomfort, but also some bizarre mental changes. During pregnancy, irritation, weeping, and mood changes are frequent. So, if a coworker notices you crying in the restroom, simply explain that you have been experiencing a lot of stress recently due to personal issues.
