Since the coronavirus is sadi to remain active of different kinds of surfaces, it is mandatory that you sanitize the things yo handle every day. That strictly includes our laptops, mobiles, tablets and other electronic devices that we handle every day. Not just because of the virus, but cleaning or sanitizing your electronic devices is very important especially if you have a habit of using your phones while eating. Research has proved that our electronic devices accommodate more germs and bacteria on them than on a toilet seat. This is because we wash the surface with water every day but we don’t do the same with our smartphones since it is dangerous to bring water anywhere near electronic devices. This is why you must sanitize your electronic devices. Here are some tips on how you can do the same: –
- Utilize a one-time use of disinfectant wipes (liquor based) or a versatile sanitiser for your cell phone.
- Abstain from utilizing any fluid based-items or bleach, vinegar and any of the strong cleaning chemicals.
- Wear gloves when you are cleaning your devices.
- Make a point to clean every niche and corner of the smartphone, the charging and USB wires, the connections, and the smartphone case and be delicate when cleaning the screen.
- For the electronic gadgets, start by cleaning the console of your PC/work area first. Give it a decent rub with little alcohol wipes. Do the same with any other devices in your house.
- Also, sanitize the tables or surfaces where you keep the phones and tablets on.
- Allow them to dry properly before using.
- Don’t use any water or a watery cloth to wipe the surfaces. Water is the enemy of every device.
You might think this is overwhelming or unnecessary, but you are very much wrong. If not the coronavirus, sanitizing your electronic devices regularly will surely keep you safe from other illnesses. You will have to dust or dirt on the screens after you sanitize them. It is never bad to be extra careful.
