No matter how hard we try, terrible events always seem to find us. When something horrible happens, it’s easy to get caught up in our own suffering and believe we don’t have what it takes to keep going. These are the times when everyone around us appears to be having a good time when everything appears to be going well for them, and here we are, doing our best while life continues to kick us. Our biggest mistake in coping with whatever is occurring to us is believing that one day it would all be done and everything will fall into our laps. The truth is that things never get easier; we only develop better ways to overcome barriers and learn to live with them less. So the secret to survival is in our pockets. Difficulties are what make us stronger and help us grow. It may sound strange, but the greatest way would be to be thankful for every hardship since it allows you to prove yourself and, in the end, to be your own hero.
