Body shaming is a cruel act of practice subjecting to criticize someone with bodily flaws and their imperfections. Body shaming creates negativity in a person’s life. They seem to lose their confidence completely in front of the whole world. They tend to always focus on their flaws and their imperfections rather than focusing on what they are good at and their ability to achieve something. There is an emotional attack, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and intake of alcohol and drugs involved in the effects of body shaming. The person no longer happy with whatever they have, and always complains about what they could have.
Nowadays due to various social platforms, there is a wide range of unrealistic standards that can be healthy and disturbing to one’s life. The world has set some weird standards for a body to be perfect, which is not always true. A body that is full of positivity and confidence is the most perfect body.
When you look in a mirror what you see is your perception of how your body looks, if you keep on body shaming you never see good in yourself. We often unfairly judge others and label them based on their size. We should understand what our opinions could do to a person’s life and how it can affect their confidence.
Concluding, we should never body shame ourselves or pass comments on other bodies because unknowingly you might hurt the person and would never realize it. So always try to be positive about yourself ad also spread positivity around the world.
