Mahendra Singh Dhoni is an Indian cricketer who is known to be one of the best cricketers in India. Dhoni was the captain of the Indian national cricket team for ten years from 2007- 2017. The cricketer’s life story is one of the most inspirational stories and there is a movie based on it. ‘M.S. Dhoni’(2016) is a story based on the real life story of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It beautifully portrays the inspirational success story of the cricketer. The movie displays how Dhoni, a boy who lives in Ranchi, Jharkhand becomes one of the famous names in India with his hard work. Dhoni aspired to become a cricketer. During his school days, Mahi played for his school football team until a cricket coach noticed him, asks him to try out cricket. He soon impresses everyone and becomes a part of his school cricket team. Dhoni is seen as the star of various inter-school cricket matches and soon gains fame for his skills and talent in the sport.
The star also gets selected for the Ranchi Trophy, however, due to his draft notice being held up he reaches the tournament late. To please his father, Dhoni takes up a job at Indian Railways. He works as a ticket collector for a short span until his manager urges him to play cricket and Dhoni decides to balance work and cricket side by side.
After a day’s long work as a ticket collector he goes to practice cricket. This whole phase seems to take a huge toll on Dhoni as he struggles all day between work and cricket. One day he finally quits his job and reveals to his father that being a cricketer is the only ambition in his life and he wishes to pursue it.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni works hard and gives his all to cricket. His hard work pays off when he finally gets selected to the national team of India. Dhoni has made his mark in the country with his sheer determination and hard work. He is today an idea and an inspiration to many struggling youngsters in India.
