What we can learn from Covid 19 pandemic
· Friends and family are our real treasure
Staying away from family is themost difficult part in such a situation. We are living in such a stressful situation right now and we need human support. Many of us are facing many other problems apart from the pandemic, job loss, lack of food and medicinal facilities and in such case, family and friends is our major support. People whom we take granted are actually our support system. It’s basic human need to be connected with other human. Due to lockdown we have realised that our family and friends are the real treasure which we need to start happy.
· Nature is constant
Doesn’t matter what situations you are facing, nature is constant. It is always there to refresh you. Due to lockdown, we aren’t able to go to the parks, mountains or beaches. Lucky are those, who have their own garden. But even if you don’t have a garden at your home, you still can have a bit of nature through fresh air coming from the window. Take time to meditate in the morning with lots of fresh air and sunlight.
· Essential workers are the real heroes
In this situation we have realised that the workers who provide essential goods and services are the real heroes. Despite of the deadly circumstances they still are working and helping us. The cleaners, milkman, grocery stores, doctors, nurses are the actual heroes.
· Adapt quickly
One if the important lessons this pandemic taught us is to learn to adapt quickly. We all have adapted to this new situation. Everyone started using sanitizers, work from home was accepted, wearing a mask, social distancing, not roaming around and many other things we adapted very quickly. It’s important to adapt to a new situation to survive. We fear to have to change our lifestyle but see we did it.
· Importance of slowing down
The pandemic taught us the importance of slowing down in life. After having made to sit at home, we realised we were living our life hastily as if there was some competition. All of us had forgotten how to live, we were acting like robots. But a little creature taught us we are just humans and we can’t control everything. It taught us the importance of enjoying life by slowing down.
· Importance of kindness
In this pandemic we have seen people being kind to each other. Helping each other, donating food, money etc. We understood the importance of kindness, the importance of compassion towards other humans and animals. With kindness and compassion we can treat people’s heart.
