Arjun, who has himself fought with weight problems, called Neeraj his motivation and inspiration as the athlete had also once battled and overcome obesity. Reportedly, Neeraj’s weight was around 90 kilos at the age of 12.
After discovering Neeraj Chopra’s life journey, Arjun Kapoor in his Instagram stories wrote that “Just battling obesity can be physically and mentally exhausting. This boy has not just overcome that, he has kept his eyes on the prize to ace an Olympic gold medal. Neeraj, you are such an inspiration to me and for the country.”
No doubt surely he is a huge source of inspiration to the country, he made the country proud with his success. He put in a lot of hard work, he overcame his obesity, he practiced very hard, he did a lot of workouts, and tried the best of his abilities. And the result is where he has reached today.
