The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is one of the country’s most popular engineering entrance exams. With the exam’s difficulty level at an all-time high, applicants are understandably inquisitive about the exam.
JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is a test that allows students to get admission to engineering institutes in India, including the Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology, and Government-Funded Technical Institutes. Since 2019, the National Test Agency (NTA) has been conducting JEE. Previously, it was held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

On the official website, the authorities will make the JEE Main 2022 application form available in an online format. The authorities will not accept any other manner of submission. Read the full eligibility criteria before filling out the application form to see if you qualify for the exam. Before you go, make sure you have scanned images of your photo and signature that meet the formal requirements. In order to be considered for JEE Main, you must provide complete and accurate personal, academic, and contact information. The application cost can be paid through e-challan or online.
Finally, a printout of the acknowledgment page is required for future reference. You will not be able to take the admission exam if you do not register.
JEE Main has been conducted through computer-based (online) exams since the 2018-19 academic year. The drawing component of JEE Main Paper-II, on the other hand, would be conducted using pen and paper.
Paper I and Paper II make up the JEE Main examination. B.Tech admissions take Paper I, while B. Arch admissions take Paper-II. Each department – Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry – will have 20 objectives and 5 numerical questions for Paper I (B.Tech). Paper-II (B.Arch and B.Plan) will have 77 and 100 questions from Math and Aptitude, respectively, as well as two subjective drawing questions (for B.Arch). JEE Main will have three three-hour papers in English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, and Gujarati.
You must have passed the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics exams in the 12th grade (or equivalent). The authorities have removed the weightage of 12th-grade marks for computing All India Ranks; however, for admissions to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, you must score 75 percent (65 percent for SC/ST category) or be in the top 20%ile in the qualifying exam.
Candidates for JEE Main 2022 Paper-II (B.Arch and B.Plan) must score 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics separately, as well as 50% in the qualifying examination (10+2th standard (or equivalent).
