They’re attempting to isolate themselves so that when it comes to an end, it won’t be too difficult to deal with. They can do better if this is a long-term connection.
So far, you’ve picked up on subtle indicators that she wants to end the relationship. You’ve tried to ignore and repress it, but you know what will happen. You’re just sitting there now, waiting for the train to arrive.
Nothing seems to bother them, whether they’re out with pals or staying late at work.
