In today’s world of chaos, we are always very busy with our life, our work, and our career. And we always run behind success. But in this process, we get very little time for ourselves. And it is very difficult for us to give time to our partner. But to maintain the relationship, you need to take some time for your partner.
1. Talk to your partner
Discuss with your partner about how you spend your day each week. Talk about the job, do some recreations, laundry, cleaning, shopping. Communicate what is working and what isn’t, and what you would like to change. So even if the whole day you don’t have time for each other the whole day, talking to each other can be a good means.
2. Create your time wish list
Discuss the activities you would love to do together if you had more time. Then prioritize them. Don’t ignore sex, making love always ends up on the bottom of the list. Do all you can do together in how much ever time you have.
Recognize what you can change. Figure out what you can do to get more time together.
Adjust your work schedules, go to work earlier and arrive home earlier.
3. Develop Trust and Faith
Every relationship is created on faith and belief. You can doubt your partner till you build trust but once you trust your partner, don’t doubt. Take your time to discuss enough issues about business, job, work, or any other thing so that you are fully conscious of the nature of your partner and his/her overall behavior. Once you realize that, you have huge trust in your partner. A trusted partner always provides for your expectations.
Try to understand each other’s problems. If your partner says they came late because they were busy, then trust each other. And don’t waste the remaining time on doubting. Instead, spend that remaining time together.
4. Pay attention to your partner’s wants
The most wonderful connection is the one you share with your partner. Make certain that all your partner’s wants are listened to and perhaps taken care of. Give entire attention to your partner’s thought process and suggestions. So even if you can’t make out more time for each other, fulfilling each other’s wants can be really helpful.
