7 Romantic Novels That Will Make You Believe In True Love

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Not that love requires a specific season, time, or location, but it has a different allure in the winter. This season provides a lot of joy, with tonnes of snuggling with your significant other inside a comfortable blanket to keep your body warm.

However, if you are a member of the single community, you should not be concerned or consider yourself unlucky. You may get the same level of warmth by curling up with a good book and a cup of homemade hot chocolate – Give yourself some self-love. And what could be better than reading romance novels while love is in the air?

Here are 7 romantic novels that will make you believe in love:

1. Pride and Prejudice – Jane Austen

If you believe that love is only for the weak-hearted, this is for you. When a complicated and strong personality like Mr. Darcy falls for a very basic yet intellectual Elizabeth, like our very own Lizzie, your heart absolutely screams with excitement. This novel has everything. Austen’s classic is one of the critics’ all-time favourites, and it is still applicable today.

2. The Notebook – Nicholas Sparks

Even if your lover no longer recognises you, your love for them will go on because love is immortal. A story of Noah and Allie, who grow old together despite struggling for their love and being separated for 14 years. What happens next, well, you’ll have to read the book to find out!

3. The Fault in Our Stars – John Green

Although it is classified as youth fiction and young adult fiction, it is the epitome of romanticism. Hazel and Augustus meet in a cancer patient support group and discover they love each other’s company. Using his own wish given to cancer-stricken youngsters, Augustus arranges for Hazel to see her favourite author. Who does that these days? Hazel is devastated to learn that Gus’s cancer has returned. But the things we go through for love!

4. 2 States – Chetan Bhagat

If you’re bored of happy endings, boy meets girl and girl meets guy romances, this book by Chetan Bhagat based in India will make you reconsider. In this case, the couple’s love is insufficient. The wedding is about the entire family, not just the couple. And no matter how prosperous and in love you are, your customs are important. They could have easily fled and married, but they did not. It’s loaded with comedy and smart observations from Bhagat, making it even more enjoyable to read.

5. Once and for all – Sarah Dassen

If you’re expecting a standard love story, you’re mistaken . When she meets Ambrose, she has concerns about him and avoids him. Ambrose, on the other hand, falls in love with her and will not stop until he has her. Louna and Ambrose are two characters you’ll fall in love with and root for from the start. If that doesn’t make you believe in love, you’re lying to yourself.
