Everybody knows Sherlock Holmes! The witty, genius and observant detective is known to be the best detective of all time. The character of Sherlock was developed by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. But this fictional character has paved the way into our hearts and remains one of our favorites to date. Today we look at the 5 best Sherlock Holmes moments that prove his wisdom to us.
1) Meeting Kitty Riley-
Kitty Riley is a journalist who is looking for a scoop on one of the UK’s most elusive characters. Kitty Riley presents herself as his huge fan in front of Sherlock. But Sherlock being Sherlock, works out that she is indeed a journalist and not some die-hard fan. The whole scene sizzles with intensity as both Sherlock and Kitty try to outplay each other. But in the end, Sherlock proves his real wisdom and gets out of there without giving off any information about the case.
2) Van Coon’s murder-
In one of the cases the assailant broke into a bank and left behind graffiti on a painting. But Sherlock uses his wisdom and gets on to solve this case which leads him to the murder of Van coon. Even when the police rule it out as a suicide, Sherlock with his exceptional observational skills examines the crime scene and concludes it is a case of murder and not suicide.
3) I AM Sherlocked-
Sherlock is faced with Irene Adler’s locked phone which has a 4 digit lock code. The only clue is ‘I AM _ _ _ _ LOCKED’. With endless combinations of numbers, Sherlock is seen trying to find out what the code is. Until he finally realizes the passcode to it is ‘I Am Sherlocked’ and that Irene is attracted to him.
4) The Mind Palace-
This is undoubtedly one of the most genius moments of Sherlock Holmes. This seems like an ultra-logical superpower, Sherlock’s Mind palace stores all of their memories with every minutest detail that he has ever encountered. This takes him very few moments to get a clue and solve a huge piece of the Hounds of Baskerville mystery.
