If You Travel To Korea, You Must Taste These Meals

If you’re a foodie, you probably already know how highly regarded Korean cuisine is in terms of global cuisine. More than only kimchi is involved. Additionally, Korean cuisine requires some getting used to, just like other Asian cuisine.

Years of social and political change resulted in the evolution of Korean cuisine. Korean food features a main dish and side dishes, unlike a Western course dinner. Five primary colors—green, red, yellow, white, and black—are used in traditional Korean cuisine. Each of them denotes a direction, a natural component, and an advantage to health.

Here is a list of every Korean dish you should taste, in case you’re interested in Korean cuisine but don’t know where to start.

1. Bibimbap (Rice Bowl)

Bibimbap will leave you satisfied and comforted if you find solace in your meal bowl. Rice, veggies, meat, gochujang (hot chili paste), and a fried egg seasoned with soy sauce and sesame seeds make up the delectable bibimbap dish.

2. Japchae (Stir-Fried Glass Noodles)

Japchae is a meal of glass noodles, beef, mushrooms, and a variety of other veggies that is perhaps Korea’s favorite noodle dish. These transparent, fine noodles are created from sweet potato.

3. Samgyeopsal (Korean BBQ)

Pork is a favorite food of Koreans. And the BBQ they cook is called samgyeopsal. You should try Samgyeopsal if you are a non-vegetarian with a penchant for hog meat. The meal consists solely of thick slices of marinated hog belly meat that have been barbecued on your table.

4. Kimchi (Spicy Fermented Vegetables)

When we hear the word “Korean cuisine,” we immediately think of kimchi. It is the most effective approach to learn about Korean cuisine. Think of it as a hot, crunchy salad comprised primarily of fermented vegetables, including cabbage.

5. Haemul Pajeon (Seafood Vegetable Pancake)

Haemul Pajeon is a dish that all seafood lovers should include to their menus. This pancake has a crunchy exterior and is constructed with a batter of rice, eggs, various shellfish, and green onions.
