In 30 minutes or less, you can have this wonderful Cheesy One Pot Chicken Lasagna on the table. This is the ideal recipe for a quick evening dinner with the family or for celebrations.

24 oz Jar of Pasta Sauce or natural sauce recipe
1 – 1 1/2 lbs Cooked chicken pieces
4 oz Oven Ready Lasagna Noodles
1 Large Onion diced
2 cloves Garlic minced
1/4 cup Red wine you may substitute with water or stock instead
1 Bay Leaf
1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
8 oz Mozzarella Cheese shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese shredded
4 oz Ricotta Cheese
3-4 leaves Basil to garnish optional
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 teaspoon of Olive Oil
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium heat.
Combine the onion and Italian spice in a mixing bowl. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are transparent. Add a pinch of salt.
Cook for an additional minute, stirring regularly to keep the garlic from browning.
Add the chicken to the saucepan and continue to stir until everything is well mixed. With the wooden spoon, break them up into smaller pieces.
Red wine should be used to deglaze the saucepan (or water or stock). With the wooden spoon, scrape the bottom of the saucepan.
Cook until the sauce begins to simmer using the entire jar of spaghetti sauce.
Combine the bay leaf and Ricotta cheese in a mixing bowl. Combine thoroughly.
