The human tendency of gossiping is well known. Most people are habitual to it. It is always bad to judge people and talk behind someone’s back. What can we do to overcome it or what things we can do instead of talking behind someone’s back.
Here let’s look at a few things we can do.
Even when those others might be worthy of criticism, be kind. Be the person who always see good in others, who gives benefits of doubt, who employs compassion instead of criticism.
Go silent and notice how epically clean you already feel knowing you are not getting sucked into negativity. Refrain yourself from judgemental and critical.
If your lips are closed. Try to keep it close. Take this opportunity to control yourself. This will keep you away from undue gossiping.
Close your eyes and take 10 deep breaths. With each breath, imagine you are erasing all your gossipy thoughts and enjoy a clean slate of your soul.
Cultivate positivity and peace of mind. You won’t have to feel guilty about later on when you replay the conversation in the head.
Think of at least 5 positive things about the annoying person being talked about.
