Much of Syria’s infrastructure has been devastated by the war, necessitating new city and town construction. Healthcare professionals have departed, and the infrastructure for electricity is in ruins.
The camp lifestyle is not what refugees want to stay with; they want to go home. But it’s still risky for them to go back. In addition, their cities, villages, and homes have all been completely destroyed.
